Choir

Choir

Our school choir is a musical ensemble of singers ranging in ages from twelve to eighteen. Singing for many people is an outlet for joy, stress relief and communication, which is why choir is a great extracurricular activity to join.

Choir takes place every Monday at lunch time in room 96. The choir is directed by the music teacher, Ms. Clohessy.

In the past the choir has competed in competitions such as Siansa. Siansa is one of Ireland’s most prestigious competitions for young traditional Irish music and singing groups. This competition is organised by Gael Linn, supported by RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta and Irish Music Magazine.

New members are more than welcome to join each week.
