On the 22nd of October Brid 4 participated in the Microsoft dreamspace workshop, which was being held in the University of Limerick, in the action point building on campus.
The students were given two seperate tasks. The first task was when they were given a word and had to communicate it to their other teammates using only their eyes. The students were given 15 minutes to come up with a method of communication.
The second task was where the students were given a microbot and a mini computer to programme on. The students were given various different objectives such as creating a rock paper scissors game to code onto the microbot. They were also able to download music and various different light shows on to the bot.
Overall it was an interesting experience and had many different learning aspects.
