On Friday the 27th September, all of Colm 4 spent a day fundraising for Limerick 95fm Supporting Children Limerick.
We were fundraising for three Limerick-based children’s charities; Cliona’s Foundation, CARI and the Children’s Grief Centre.
We were given t-shirts to wear to show who we were and buckets to collect the donations in. We were put in pairs and we split up to go to different parts of town. While it was daunting at first approaching people, we soon got used to it.
It was a really interesting experience and we all really enjoyed it. We raised lots of money for these deserving charities and we all loved being able to help and make a difference.
