Dear Parent/Guardian,
A major component of our school’s successful response to the Covid pandemic has been our enhanced ventilation and our use of outdoor facilities by students.
On that basis students have been allowed to wear jackets outside their school uniform. Having spoken with some students, parents and colleagues we see the opportunity to introduce a new school jacket for the coming school year. We have chosen to deal with a Limerick company, COBI Sports, who have a successful track record in dealing with local sports clubs.
The jacket we have chosen is highly functional and attractive and costs a very reasonable €36.
Whilst we would encourage all students to purchase the school jacket, we propose that the jacket is obligatory for all incoming First Year and Transition Year students with effect from September.
Of course we acknowledge some parents have placed orders with Uniformity and those jackets are perfectly acceptable.

COBI Sports have set up a virtual “Pop Up Shop” until the 30th of June allowing you to order the jacket which will then be available to collect in the school on Thursday 26th August between 10.00 and 12.00.
We believe that these jackets look extremely well, are most suitable for our school environment including, as they do, the student’s initials. They will be a very welcome addition to our school uniform and school identity.
